Tent camping passes for the first weekend, April 12-14, were the first to sell out, about 90 minutes into what had been billed as a weeklong sale. About a half-hour later, the supply of GA passes available this week dried up.
The festival says VIP passes and Lake Eldorado camping passes are still available for the first weekend, and no Weekend 2 sellouts have been announced.
12:13 p.m. update: First-weekend VIP passes are gone, and Weekend 2 tent camping is sold out.
12:53 p.m. update: A festival-goer tells us he was still able to purchase a car camping pass for Weekend 1:
@MyCoachella I saw the ‘sold out’ post, went to the website, got standby for 10 minutes and somehow got a 3-day pass w/ camping #weekend1
