Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert may be the current king and queen of country music, but it was Steve Martin who got a royal reception Saturday at Stagecoach.
The actor, known for such films as “Parenthood,” “Three Amigos” and “Father of the Bride,” drew hundreds if not thousands to the Mustang tent for his late afternoon set with the Steep Canyon Rangers.
Martin led the popular bluegrass ensemble in an hour-long performance that was part comedy bit, part melodic masterpiece.
