Paste Magazine recently posted its list of the 30 best Coachella Music Festival performances of all time.

Unsurprisingly, Radiohead, Arcade Fire, Rage Against the Machine, Paul McCartney and the White Stripes all made the list. Even Madonna’s controversial 2006 appearance made it.

But once a list like that is out, people waste no time in criticizing it for its omissions. So here I go…

- Easily the most overlooked… Prince’s 2008 amazing headlining set began late and lasted until well after curfew, but it was all worth it.

- Last year’s set by Sleigh Bells blew the roof off the Mojave Tent.

- Roger Waters performed “Dark Side of the Moon” in full in 2008 – and accidentally blew up his inflatable pig.

- Love him or hate him, you have to give Kanye West high marks for his theatrics – rising high above the Main Stage crowd last year on a crane to kick off his set.
