The Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals’ host city, Indio, took comments on the festivals and promoter Goldenvoice‘s plan for more events, and MyDesert’s Tatiana Sanchez found that most residents of Indio and surrounding cities support the fests.

Coachella and Stagecoach noise on neighboring city’s mind

Has Indio considered shutting down Coachella and Stagecoach concerts earlier than 1 a.m. to mitigate noise?

That’s a question the neighboring city of La Quinta may pose in its response to an environmental impact report paid for by Goldenvoice, the festivals’ promoter, to ensure expanding the concerts won’t negatively affect the surrounding area, Nicole Brambila reports on our sister site.

Indio is asking the public for feedback on Goldenvoice‘s plans for up to five concerts a year through 2030 as part of an environmental impact report.
