Are you ready to “Rock the Funk”?
Desert DJ Entertainment Group will play host to a full musical lineup Saturday (March 2) at the Date Shed, 50725 Monroe St. in Indio.
What the Funk, DJ Paul Z, Boycott Radio and the Indio-based Wyte Gye are among those slated to perform.
The event runs from 9 p.m. Saturday until 1:45 a.m. Entrance costs $5.
Fifty percent of the proceeds will go to the Riverside County Deputy Sheriff Relief Foundation, a registered nonprofit that provides assistance to deputies and other law enforcement in crisis situations, ranging from injuries to death.
There will also be a raffle, with 100 percent of the money raised going to the family of San Bernardino Sheriff’s Detective Jeremiah MacKay.
