When can I buy Coachella 2014 tickets?

There are 322 days until Coachella takes over the Empire Polo Club again — but you can buy your tickets today.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. PT on Friday at www.coachella.com.

The festival weekends are slated for April 11-13 and April 18-20, 2014. This advance ticket sale is the only chance residents get for a payment plan.

Coachella will be held April 11-13 and April 18-20, 2014, Goldenvoice announced Monday.

The advance ticket sales will open at 10 a.m. PT on Friday, May 24.

This is the only chance residents get for a payment plan.

The Coachella website shows a hint about an announcement coming Monday.

Goldenvoice will make a Coachella-related announcement on Monday — and music fans can probably get ready to open their wallets for next year’s festival.

A picture posted to the Coachella website and social media accounts on Friday shows an artistic photo of Coachella with the text: “10 a.m. Monday.”

If history holds true, Goldenvoice will likely announce the dates for the 2014 festival weekends as well as an advanced ticket sale that could happen within days.

It was about this time last year — May 14, 2012 — that Goldenvoice announced the next year’s dates, then opened advance sales from May 17-24, 2012.

The Desert Sun’s music site — MyCoachella.com — will provide an update as soon as the announcement is made on Monday.

Festival producer Goldenvoice announced an attendance figure for its Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals this month that is larger than the population of Coachella Valley.

Attendees of the final weekend of the Coachella Valley Music Fest show little dismay that they were unable to attend the first weekend.

Typically regarded as the better of the two with cooler temperatures and more surprises, there are still some who prefer the subsequent weekend.

“Silly people complain about weekend two,” said Eden Graham. “So what? You’re still getting the opportunity to attend.”

Local residents who couldn’t get into this weekend’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival can buy tickets on Saturday for next weekend’s festival.

Coachella and Stagecoach music festival tickets will be on sale to locals today at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, while supplies last. The first weekend of Coachella started Friday.

Locals can buy up to two passes for the second weekend of Coachella – April 19-21 — and/or for the Stagecoach country music festival on April 26-28. Passes purchased online can also be picked up at the tennis garden, 78200 Miles Ave.

Passes are $349 for Coachella and $239 for Stagecoach, all fees included.

The local sale for Coachella and Stagecoach passes began on Monday in an online sale — and it will continue exclusively online over the weekend.

The in-person portion of sales has been pushed back to Monday, according to a flyer distributed at Indian Wells Tennis Garden on Wednesday.

Goldenvoice has declined to say how many passes it will sell to local residents.

Goldenvoice will open a third round of ticket sales April 3 to Coachella Valley residents — and this year, everyone from Desert Hot Springs to Mecca is eligible.

The sale will be for passes to Coachella Weekend 2 or for Stagecoach.

Passes are non-transferable, according to the details given exclusively to The Desert Sun.

Price:$349 for a Coachella Weekend 2 pass and $239 for Stagecoach. All fees included.

Report: Coachella local sales to begin April 3

Goldenvoice officially says it will announce local ticket sales “within the next week” — but multiple Twitter users claim the promoter is already releasing details.

The local sale will begin April 3 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden and could be open to a broader range of zip codes than it was last year, according to several screen shots purporting to show email exchanges with a Goldenvoice community liaison.

The Desert Sun sent one of the screen shots and asked Goldenvoice to confirm if the exchanges were true. The rep did not respond to that question, saying only that details would be released later.
